The F40 double tapered design gives the implant a great stability and allows the gradual load transmission to the metaphyseal area of the bone.

An optimal bone fit and fill is observed together with an homogeneous cement mantle distribution. Its sandblasted finishing increase the implant cement bonding.

The instrumentation is common to the cemented version to allow the intraoperative selection of the implant.

The Ergos instrument set, which is used to implant the F40 stem, has been designed following the functionality and ergonomy principles to ease the surgeons use.
